Sound evaluation of ATE projects and centers provides NSF with evidence of their quality and outcomes. More importantly, effective evaluation supplies projects and centers with timely information they can use to enhance their activities and deepen impacts. Evaluation produces accurate and useful information that improves a project while it is a work-in-progress.
