The new associate degree program combines electronics, computers, and experimental testing, and it was launched at Macomb Community College in fall 2018. CAAT worked with seed-funding partner Kettering University to create a cross-discipline course: Automotive Cybersecurity for Automotive Technicians. It is available for download from CAAT's website. CAAT offers a professional development short-course on electric-drive vehicle technology and participates in educator instruction at professional meetings such as the Michigan Auto Teachers Association Conference. Electric vehicle technicians work on an all-electric Chevy Bolt.
